Grand Duke Friedrich Franz III of Mecklenburg-Schwerin

Friedrich Franz III (1851–1897), Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, husband of Grand Duchess Anastasia Mikhailovna, honorary chief of the 1st Khoper Regiment. In 1885 and 1896 he granted Mecklenburg orders and medals to Khoper Cossacks; according to the roster, Fedot Alekseevich too was permitted to wear Mecklenburg-Schwerin silver medals (1897) [Tolstov 1901, pt 2, p. 339; Roster of A. B. Kalaushin, no. 73].
