Vyacheslav Olegovich Kalaushin

Вячеслав Олегович Калаушин

Author and owner of kalaushin.com; founder of Data Nexus (Data Nexus Technologies Services FZ-LLC, UAE). Born in St Petersburg and into IT from childhood, after school he “decided to try himself in the craft”, in his own words: in December 2017 he founded EdWay, an EGE-preparation platform, in St Petersburg, and in 2019 EdCAS, a corporate-learning platform (Tagline Awards bronze). Early in 2018 he moved to Moscow, then to Dubai; he lives in Abu Dhabi. The Data Nexus products CyberEGE, NeuroFrame and Carfleet were created by him and the company’s team. Through him the chronicle received the relatives’ confirmation of two family accounts — the saddle for the Shah of Persia and the commission for Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

    EdCAS, which he founded, won Bronze for “Best MVP Website” at the Tagline Awards 2019 — the verdict of a professional jury.

    EdWay, which he co-owned, was singled out twice: at Delovoy Peterburg's Startup Exchange (2018, one of six projects) a jury member invited him to a separate meeting, and in 2019 the project was selected for the accelerator of the pre-seed fund Startup Lab.

  • System

    Founder of Data Nexus, a company that writes its non-negotiable rules into the systems themselves: its rule is “Define what must remain true before deciding what should change”; in its Carfleet the database itself forbids double rentals and repeat invoices, and the money records are checked every night. Before that, EdWay, an adaptive-learning platform that found a student's weak points.
