◆ Imperial order [c. 26 April 1916]: swords and bow to the Order of St Anna, 3rd class, already held, for esaul Stefan Kalaushin of the 2nd Khoper Regiment, Kuban Cossack Host. Stepan Georgievich had died of wounds in the summer of 1915, so this was probably a posthumous award (our inference) [Imperial orders, 16 Apr – 19 May 1916; Roster of A.
