Fedot Alekseevich Kalaushin — uryadnik of the Life-Guard 2nd Kuban Sotnia of the Convoy, full-dress portrait with decorations
◇ family testimony

Caption
Fedot Alekseevich Kalaushin in Convoy full dress with his decorations. The publisher dated the photograph 1911; the decorations point to 1913 at the earliest (the Romanov Tercentenary medal). Specialists on the Druzhina forum identify the centenary badge of the Convoy's Kuban sotnias, the 1896 coronation medal, the badges "For Service in the Convoy" and the Kuban Host badge; the lowest badge is unidentified — "possibly Persian". If so, it might connect with the family account of the saddle Fedot Alekseevich made for the Shah of Persia on the commission of Nicholas II; this is our conjecture, to be tested by examining the original [Druzhina forum, 2012–2017; Roster of A. B. Kalaushin, no. 73].
