July 1914

Ahmad Shah’s coronation

◆ documented

Russia sent a special envoy to Ahmad Shah’s coronation in Tehran in 1914. △ A gift would then have gone to Tehran, without any review in St Petersburg — this date fits the family’s account of the saddle less well.
