Son of Afanasy Trofimovich, born c. 1842, an uryadnik of the 2nd Khoper Regiment. For the battle of Dayar on 9 June 1877 he received the Insignia of the Military Order, 4th class (in the award list, “Yegor Koloushin”); father of the officers Afanasy and Stepan Yegorovich.
