In 1934 Matvey Matveyevich reported on the new display of Pushkin’s last apartment; the library of the All-Union Pushkin Museum was housed in the Biron stables on the Moika; the exhibitions “Our First Director” (2004) and “Boris Kalaushin: From the Academy to Abstraction” (2015) were held here.
