Naser al-Din Shah in St Petersburg

◈ published source

In May 1889, in the reign of Alexander III, Naser al-Din Shah visited St Petersburg. △ This visit fits the family’s account of the saddle for the Shah less well: Fedot Alekseyevich had not yet taken the oath (1891) and was not serving in the Convoy.
